Benefits of Book Study
Earn Graduate-Level Course Credits or Professional Development Hours:
Participants have the flexibility to register for either 1 or 2 graduate-level semester credits for the Grading for Equity Book Study. Each graduate-level semester credit requires a minimum of 15 hours of professional development participation with Crescendo Education Group, LLC. The structured approach of the study ensures that participants deeply engage with the course content and discussions, promoting a rich learning experience.

Book Study Options
National Book Study
National Book Study sessions are 90 minutes in length and scheduled once a month over four months (October, December, March, May). Each session will be led by a Crescendo Education Group Facilitator. Sessions occur remotely via Zoom.
Who is the National Book Study for?
- Individual teachers, leaders, or school professionals who are curious about equitable grading and want a guided approach/discussion to the book
- Small groups (less than 10) who would like to explore explore equitable grading in depth
Note: The Grading for Equity Book Study is based on the 1st Edition.
We will offer our book study in two groups: Group A and Group B. Each group has different times offered. You will be expected to attend in your registered group for the duration of the book study.

Community Book Study
Community Book Study sessions are 90 minutes in length and can be scheduled by a school/or district administrator to fit the needs of their calendar. Each session will be led by a Crescendo Education Group Facilitator. Sessions occur remotely via Zoom.
Who is the Community Book Study for?
- Schools/or districts who have more than 10 individuals interested in equitable grading and implementing practices in their school or classroom
- Large groups interested in learning about equitable grading and how it can transform schools and classrooms
